Mei Tan is a Senior Product Designer at Recidiviz, specializing in complex systems and data-heavy workflows. Her recent shift toward civic tech and social impact includes work on disaster recovery and federal grants, applying enterprise design experience to mission-driven contexts. Previously, her work spanned early-stage innovation at LSEG and large-scale digital transformation at HSBC and Rio Tinto. She holds an MSc in Electronic Publishing from City, University of London, where she conducted research at The Guardian on interaction behaviors in digital news. Outside of work, she enjoys tending to her vegetable patch, being outdoors, and admiring all the dogs.
