Brenda Li is a senior implementation engineer at Recidiviz. Previously, she worked as a research programmer at Mathematica where she worked on projects across various policy fields including education, nutrition, health, and employment. In her spare time, she can be found hanging out by the Chicago lakefront, secretly planting potatoes in communal spaces, or pretending she knows something about ancient numismatics. Brenda holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Middlebury College and an M.S. in Computational Analysis and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
