Ariella van Hooven
Ariella van Hooven is a Product Growth Manager at Recidiviz. As a criminal psychologist, she has led program design and implementation efforts in correctional facilities in both the U.S. and Germany, working closely with male and female, juvenile and adult incarcerated people across all security levels. Her work has focused on advancing evidence-based interventions and improving outcomes for people impacted by the criminal justice system. Ariella has also worked in the startup ecosystem, scaling a high-growth agricultural tech startup as VP of Operations in Berlin. Building teams, leading product launches and managing fundraising cycles were on her agenda. Outside of work, you can either find her trying new restaurants with friends or DJing electronic music. Ariella holds a B.Sc. in psychology from Leiden University and an M.Sc. in clinical psychology from Utrecht University.
