CJ Knoble is a Data Analyst and research lead at Recidiviz. Over the last five years, he has worked as a data science and GIS consultant, leading environmental and social justice research projects to guide decision making and secure funding. He is the author or co-author of 12 peer-reviewed scientific studies on the impacts of big data, social justice, and environmental hazards. In his free time, CJ loves rock climbing, is determined to learn to surf (eventually), plays games of every type, and was a tap dancer for 6 years. CJ holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Management from Montclair State University.
