Jessica is a Software Engineer at Recidiviz. Previously, she was a Full-Stack Web Developer at General Electric. In undergraduate she volunteered with Amnesty International, lobbying in Congress for key human rights bills and functioning as Student Activist Coordinator, working with high school and college groups in the state of Michigan. In her free time, she likes making clothes, intermittently trying out new physical activities but never sticking with them long enough to get good at them, solo traveling, and entertaining the idea of taking harmonica lessons. She holds a Bachelors in English and Computer Science from the University of Michigan - Dearborn and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
