George Mandis is a Tech Lead Manager at Recidiviz. Prior to that he was the director of engineering at Axios HQ. Before all of that he spent 15+ years as an independent software engineer working on more things than he can remember. Outside of work, George is an avid traveler, writer, runner and sometimes musician. He once accidentally cheated while running a marathon in North Korea but (more proudly) successfully finished a marathon in Svalbard, while also avoiding becoming polar bear food.
