Damini is a Data Analyst at Recidiviz. Formerly, she worked as a Data Fellow at The Marshall Project, where she reported on the impact of COVID-19 on prison populations as well as the disproportionate impact on communities of color. In the past, she's worked in nonprofits, research labs and local government, using data analysis and visualization to help improve outcomes in education and criminal justice. In her free time, Damini enjoys dancing, completing jigsaw puzzles, and listening to audiobooks. She holds an M.S. in Computational Analysis and Public Policy, and a B.A. in Economics, from The University of Chicago.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
