Sonia Chokshi is a user experience designer at Recidiviz, currently working on the Spark (Population Projection) and Lantern teams. Previously, she worked on Google Search, helping people complete complex tasks more efficiently, and, before that, built new products at Lumosity to help people overcome insomnia and understand their unique brains. Sonia is a new, but enthusiastic, outdoor adventurer and is learning to rock climb, backpack, and ski. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
