Rosy is our Operations Analyst at Recidiviz. Previously she was a compliance manager where she focused on internal and external compliance with city and state lobbying regulations. Her role was centered on data management, contract writing, contract management, and city/state reporting, where she continuously collaborated with the Human Resources and the Accounting departments. Along with her full-time role, Rosy served in the Manhattan Community Board 12 as a community board member. Prior to her work at Capalino, she worked at the New York City Council as a Data Administrator for approximately four years and served as a Project Manager for sidewalk cafes and affordable housing projects. Rosy has obtained her Master’s in Public Administration, specializing in Policy Analysis and Evaluation, and large course work in Urban Development and Sustainability from Baruch College. In her free time, Rosy enjoys swimming, painting, and writing -- especially poetry.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
