Configurable Case Planning Interviews and Outputs
- State-Wide Flexibility: Staff can now deploy specialized interviews for different populations (e.g., gender-responsive needs) or distinct touchpoints (e.g., Facility Intake vs. Parole Release).
- Customizable Workflows: The platform can be tailored to draft documents that match the specific policy requirements of each division, ensuring the software adapts to your workflow, not the other way around.
- Longitudinal Case Management: Staff can now assign multiple types of interviews to the same client over time (e.g., pre-release followed by a 90-day review), and preserve multiple recordings and transcripts to track progress and support continuity of care.
Integrated Voice & Accessibility Features
- Text-to-Speech & Speech-to-Text: Clients can now dictate responses during case planning assessments, while Wanda can read questions aloud—improving accessibility for users with different learning styles or visual impairments.
Secure Platform Access & Safety Protocols
- Expanded Access Management: Access to case plans can now be granted based on location or facility assignment in addition to caseload assignments. This unlocks critical collaboration for supervisors, clinical managers, therapists and security staff.
- Shared Authentication: New shared authentication allows seamless navigation between the Supervision and Facilities Assistants and the Case Planning Assistant, enabling staff to move fluidly between tools without needing to re-login.
- Recorder Safety Guardrails: We have improved safeguards in the recorder tool to prevent errors from edge cases such as quiet or empty recordings.
- AI Transparency: Comprehensive disclosures across the tool clearly identify AI-generated outputs, prompting users to verify content and requiring human review to ensure accuracy and accountability.
New Features for Residents in the Opportunities App
- Sentence Dates and Good Time Tracking: States can now enable residents to track key dates—like Parole Eligibility or Max Release—and see real-time adjustments from Good Time, Earned Time, or infractions, all on their own tablet. Keeping residents informed about their status reinforces the impact of positive behavior while freeing up staff time by reducing the volume of date-related inquiries. Supported on Securus, Viapath, ICS, and Orijin tablets.
- Plain English Explainers: Complex policies are often a barrier to compliance. States can now roll out plain-English explainers of sentence calculations and rules directly in the Opportunities app, ensuring residents clearly understand their sentence and their path home.
- Reentry Checklist: Residents can now independently track their progress on critical pre-release activities, such as securing IDs, gathering documentation, and lining up housing.
