Richard Peay
State Engagement
Richard is the first State Engagement Fellow at Recidiviz. Previously, he was part of the voter protection staff at the Democratic Party of Georgia (DPG), working on outreach to Korean and other AAPI communities and developing a voter protection Hotline in the Korean language during the 2020 Election Cycle. Prior to DPG, Richard was a Specialist in the International Private Client and National Security practices at Kobre & Kim LLP where he worked on high-stakes cross-border litigation matters. Outside of work, he enjoys taking his dog (Benvolio) on long walks, controversially criticizing fusion food, and cooking Korean dishes. Richard holds an A.B. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.
