Katherine Orozco is this summer's State Engagement Intern. Previously, she worked as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism, volunteered for various mental health advocacy groups, and worked with anti-human trafficking organizations, as well as immigrant rights alliances. After gaining many valuable skills from interning at Recidiviz, Katherine will work as a reunification case manager reuniting families that were separated at the border. She actively enjoys listening to 90s rap and even has two dogs named after famous rappers: Biggie Smalls (pug)and Snoop Dogg (Shih-poo). She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Education Studies from Wesleyan University.
