Daniela Schiano di Cola is a software engineer at Recidiviz. Previously, she was a software engineer at the non-profit organization EducationSuperHighway, where she worked on a suite of products that enable school districts to increase their internet bandwidth at a lower cost, and reach the broadband speeds required for digital education. She holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the College of William and Mary, where she focused on linguistic equity in education. Daniela loves learning about languages (both human and software), trail running, dancing, and exploring national parks. She has also won several underground foosball championships.
A diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace is essential to our mission. People come to Recidiviz to contribute to an urgent cause, and to work alongside incredible coworkers who care as much as they do. To ensure that we’re building intentional products and amplifying the work of others in the reform ecosystem, we are committed to fostering a diverse team that reflects the people we serve.
We combine the efficiency of a tech company with the heart of a non-profit. Recidiviz began as a volunteer project at Google and has since grown into one of the brightest, kindest teams that civic tech has to offer. Our north star: safely and fairly shrinking the criminal justice system.
